Eligibility Requirements

The A.C.E. Scholarship Program seeks to identify male high school seniors of color who will make significant contributions to society. Applicants must excel academically, exhibit exceptional leadership potential, participate in community service activities and demonstrate financial need. The applicant must be a US citizen or hold a permanent resident visa card. Current college students are not eligible to apply.

Each year, a minimum of four students will be designated A.C.E. Scholars and will receive $1000.00 paid directly to the institution. The recipients may use the scholarship to attend an accredited four-year college or university of their choice within the United States. The A.C.E Scholarships are not limited to any specific field or career objective and may be used to pursue any academic discipline. This is the inaugural year of the A.C.E. scholarship program and we look forward to setting a high standard for scholars.

Applications are screened during the month of May by an A.C.E board member. In June, finalists are invited to participate in a face-to-face interview where members of the A.C.E. Selection Committee interview finalists. Scholarship winners are selected on the basis of their applications, interviews and majority approval of the board. Notification follows immediately.

Application Deadline

The A.C.E. Program currently has one deadline for applications  (students must be current high school seniors at the time of their application):
June 15th, 2014 at 11:59 PM CST

Application materials must be mailed in one packet. Transcripts and letters of recommendation should not be sent under separate cover. Incomplete, e-mailed or faxed applications will not be considered.
